What would it be like to wake up every day in your very own best dream? Sounds utopic? Not at all. It\u2019s a conscious decision that, with the right tools, can be realized in a very concrete way. Easy? In principle - yes. But in practice it can be quite challenging. When our old patterns keep trying to interfere, but no longer match our new vision and its frequency. And then our own dream can suddenly feel \u2018too good to be true.\u2019 But no worries, we almost always grow to rise and meet our challenges. And this is where you\u2019ll find the know-how to navigate the thicket of the past. If it were easy, it wouldn\u2019t be new. And in a way, pretty boring too.<\/p>\n

Having worked as a therapist for decades, there\u2019s one thing I learned at the very start. <\/p>\n

Namely how immensely difficult it is for most of us to clearly visualize where it is we want to go. To REALLY know what we want.<\/p>\n

Initially I couldn\u2019t believe it.<\/p>\n

But I soon understood that it\u2019s a crux of the mostly unfulfilled or even sad lives that many of us lead amid infinite possibilities!<\/p>\n

When asked what they DON\u2019T want, most people can answer right away, at length and in detail.<\/strong> Auf die Frage WAS GENAU wir wollen, kommt meist erst mal…nichts. Schweigen. \u00dcberlegen. Vage Ideen. Ratlosigkeit. Hilflosigkeit und \u00dcberforderung.<\/p>\n

And then comes a sense of shame and the fear of appearing immoderate.<\/h2>\n

Even if it sounds unbelievable, this is exactly what normally happens.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s a little like getting into a car to go on vacation, but because you have no idea where you\u2019re going and are uncertain that you\u2019re even entitled to this journey, you haven\u2019t packed a suitcase and don\u2019t have an itinerary. <\/p>\n

Instead, you take off and play it by ear.<\/p>\n

That can work out.<\/strong> You may have a fantastic time - if that was precisely the plan: To immerse yourself in the unknown and go with the flow while you practice the art of improvisation. <\/p>\n

But it can also backfire<\/strong>. If you take off without a plan, idea, motivation, or the courage to think about where you\u2019re headed. And deep down, harbor the fear that you may not even have the right to take this trip.<\/p>\n

At the same time, you want to be happy \u2013 even if you don\u2019t know what that entails. <\/p>\n

So, you leave it up to life. \u201cGo ahead!\u201d you say.<\/p>\n
